- Despite their effectiveness, the implementation of MBIs in healthcare lags behind. Implementation is facilitated by integration of MBIs in the clinical care and education of medical doctors, an adequate number of qualified mindfulness teachers and robust clinical research into the effectiveness and working mechanisms of MBIs.
